All of our cake mixes and concentrates are easy to use and come with full simple instructions. Cake mixes contain almost everything you need to make the finished product - typically just add water and sometimes egg or oil depending on the cake type. These are “guaranteed” formulations; precisely follow the instructions for perfect results every time.

Concentrates, as their name suggests, are more concentrated cake bases. They are formulated so that you can add your own basic ingredients - sometimes flour, sometimes sugar - to make up delicious cakes. Typically cake concentrates come with a range of recipes – by changing the type and amount of ingredients that you add, you can make several different types of cake.
We have developed high performance micro-ingredients under the “Cake-Soft” brand to extend shelf-life, increase moistness, softness and general fresh-keeping. The “Cake-Soft” range can be tailored to suit individual processes, market requirements and tastes.

In addition to cake mixes and concentrates, many of our businesses offer highly effective cake gels. These ready to use hydrated gels provide excellent batter stability and give high volume results for superior cakes. They are especially useful for light, airy sponge cakes. To ensure you can express your creativity, most mixes can be customised by the addition of colours; flavour with the unique AB Mauri “Kularomes” products; inclusions such as nuts, fruit or chocolate chips or by the use of an AB Mauri topping or filling.
